This split brings together two of California's best current day hardcore acts, No Truce and Crucified. Judging by the lyrics and the lyrics both bands have a love for all things holy terror. I'm sure many of you are sick of this whole "holy terror" sub-genre of hardcore, but you can suck my penis and eat my poop because the shit rules. No Truce starts this seven song split off with three fine offerings of overt metallic hardcore drawing influences from fine bands such as Integrity, Buried Alive, Sick of It All, and Madball. Is it groundbreaking or mind blowing? Fuck no! But is good, you're fucking right it is! If you like your hardcore on the heavier side of the spectrum, this is for you.

Crucified finish this split off with four heavy hitters in a similar fashion to No Truce Their shit is a bit more slowed down by the utilization of more mid-paced riffing. However, it allows the vocalist to drive home his hatred for the political and social calamity taking place through his venomous vocal approach. One of my favorite songs is the "Beast of The Right" which seems to be about Hilary Clinton's backhanded ways (Editors Note: I have been told it is actually about Ann Coulter, but their both cunts so who cares!). Another favorite of mine is the song "Order Out of Chaos" which is about how the elite manipulate the general population through fear, with some masonic references such as "...the ignorant will be slaves to the thirty-third degree...". And isn't that the fucking truth.

It's not very often that you see two bands on a split record at the same studio, but this results in a very consistent and enjoyable listen. For No Truce the sound is very bass heavy, and boombastic. The guitars are nice and crunchy, enough so to put a hurting on your baby makers. Crucified isn't as ‘boombastic' as No Truce but the guitar is pretty devastating. The drums could easily kill a fetus no doubt. And please do allow young children to hear both vocalist, they may very well save you're kid from being a pussy.

For me this is a sexy layout, I don't know about you but it gets it done for me. Oh man I just love a black contrasted background with sweet metallic silver ink. I don't know it's like a primal thing. The booklet is a simple two panel joint that simply displays the lyrics for both parties involved.

Rating: 4/5
Songs Worthy of Replay: No Truce's "Vultures"& Crucified's "Order Out of Chaos" and "Beast of the Right"
Synopsis: Listening to this split is like watching a large assed woman shake her butt cheeks; it's simply awesome! If I was to put on music when I jerk off to Krystal Jordan's heavenly hams, this would be it (however I do not listen to music, I like hearing the ripples of the butt cheeks).

With all that being said, check it out for yourself and cast your on judgement...like it, then buy it; don't be one of those bunk bitches ripping off small bands.
